Dinosaur skin

It may be ancient history, but a rare dinosaur skin is offering insights into animal evolution.

University of Regina physicist Mauricio Barbi helped discover patches of actual dinosaur skin from a 72-million-year-old hadrosaur. Early analysis comparing the dino’s skin to that of a modern crocodile reveals cellular similarities between the two that shed new light on evolution.
